I think that every writer or blogger has to find what works for them. Kinda like most things in life. Don't put too much stress on yourself. Take your time, and you'll figure it out. :-)Diane Hugheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06082297295013501749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5195168929115437360.post-41422747740476558312011-07-28T12:41:55.067-07:002011-07-28T12:41:55.067-07:00In my book there are NO rules to what it takes to ...In my book there are NO rules to what it takes to be a writer. My only stipulation is to follow my passion and I do so. That's what brings ME bliss and makes me the writer/person I am today. There's nothing wrong with this and do it when you need to. We can't be "on" all the time.

If blogging is stressful or unfun, take a break. No one says you have to do it, though there is tremendous pressure to do so for writers these days. But all the signs says readers aren't the ones reading authors blogs, other writers are. It's not going to hurt you if you don't enjoy it or need to stop when life demands more of you than you can spare.

Blog if you enjoy it. If you don't, (or don't know what to blog about) try something else. Maybe Twitter is more your style, or Facebook, or the new Google + or nothing at all.

Oh, the critiques I do on my blog aren't members of my crit groups. (that would be wrong without their permission) The pieces are submissions from readers for the sole purpose of having me crit them for the blog. :)Janice Hardyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02356672149097741248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5195168929115437360.post-42564386390448027772011-07-27T10:07:40.282-07:002011-07-27T10:07:40.282-07:00Guess what?
